Infrastructure
The technological backbone of Nine is comprised of three independent locations, a network with multiple redundancies and high-quality server components.
Data center
Nine is represented at three independent locations in the Zurich area. All data centers are equipped with emergency power backup systems and strict access control. Two sites contain all productive servers including the client servers. The monitoring of the network and data backup is performed by the third site. The three data centers are connected via a optical fibre ring and in this manner ensure a high-speed connection of 10Gbps.
Security
Safety measures of our data centers:
- emergency power supplies
- redundant cooling systems
- fire extinguishing equipment (gas)
- strict access control with badge, key and personal code
- permanent video surveillance
