Maximum security and tailor-made performance thanks to high-quality servers: nine.ch's Intel-based server systems have been optimally adjusted for 24 hours operation in the computer centre.
Efficient operation
Our 1U rack servers adapt themselves optimally to the conditions in the data centre. A sophisticated redundant ventilation system ensures efficient colling. The server system continuously adjusts itself to the required performance and therefore operates in a highly energy-efficient manner.
Individual selection
The features of the server systems are selected depending on your requirements. On demand we will install additional RAM memory or a larger hard drive.
Maximum performance
Which level of performance do you require? We offer the system to match any requirements. Our processors span from Quad Core Xeon up to Six Core Xeon with two processor slots and therewith a total of twelve cores for especially computationally intensive applications. Hard drives are available in the variants SATA (7,2000 rpm) and SAS (10,000 or 15,000 rpm). Database systems in particular benefit from the higher rotation per minute rate and therefore considerably quicker access speeds. For even higher performance needs we can offer additional SSD disks.
Ensured security
Nine ensures the highest degree of security: In case of a malfunction, redundancy and stand-by systems ensure trouble-free continued operation of our high-quality servers. We exclusively use special enterprise versions of hard drives, which have been optimised for continuous operation in the computer centre. However, should a hard drive malfunction occur, the RAID system bypasses the malfunction. Furthermore, we always have a sufficient supply of spare servers for each server type.
