Our First Employee in Canada

Jasmine Schläfli Jun 26, 2016

After the first positive experiences in Canada (see also Follow the Sun: Our Work in Canada) we began a new chapter and incorporated a subsidiary in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Additionally, Nicholas Yeoman, the first Canadian employee at nine.ch, starts as Linux Operations Engineer.

Nicholas has several years of experience in server administration and is also an experienced web developer. He is also a Linux and open source fan and a member of the South Okanagan Linux User’s Group in Penticton, Canada.

Nicholas begins his introduction in our Zurich office and will receive one month of intensive training in our processes before he starts work in mid-October from Canada. He will support the operations team there with the operation of all our server systems during the night in Switzerland, set up new server systems and perform migrations.

We welcome Nicholas to the team and wish him a good start.
