What you get

Tier IV data centre

NTS / ColoZüri in Zurich Altstetten is certified to Uptime Institute Tier IV and runs on 100% renewable electricity. With ClimateCare you can also offset the CO₂ emissions of your server for CHF 2.– per month.

Network

Your server is connected to our network with 1 Gbps flat (Fair Usage), at 99.9% network availability. An IPv6 prefix up to /48 is included, IPv4 addresses and additional switchports are optional.

24/7 access as an option

Access is not included by default. As an option, you get 24/7 access with your fingerprint and a key for CHF 38 per month, plus a setup fee of CHF 75 and a key deposit of CHF 350. Each additional person costs CHF 19.– per month.

Remote Hands and IP-KVM

We don’t always have staff on site. Remote Hands cost CHF 250 per hour during office hours, the Remote Console IP-KVM CHF 90 for 6 hours. Outside office hours, on-call and on-site fees apply.

We run the data centre. You run your server.

Server Housing gives you space, power and network for your own server. Everything on the server is yours.

Frequently asked questions

What’s included in the base price?

One height unit, 160 W of power, 1 Gbps flat (Fair Usage), an IPv6 prefix up to /48, redundant climate control, access control, video surveillance, gas fire protection and emergency power. IPv4 addresses, more power, high availability and 24/7 access are available as options.

Is 24/7 access included?

No, unlike Colocation. You can add 24/7 access with your fingerprint and a key for CHF 38 per month, plus a setup fee of CHF 75 and a key deposit of CHF 350. Each additional person costs CHF 19.– per month.

Can I get more power or more space?

Yes. Additional height units for servers taller than 1U cost CHF 40.– each, additional power in steps of 115 W costs CHF 52.–, both per month.

Where is my server?

At NTS / ColoZüri in Zurich Altstetten, an Uptime Institute Tier IV data centre running on 100% renewable electricity. Server Housing is only available at this location. Data centre locations.

Can I get a dedicated copper or fibre connection?

No. Your server is connected to our network with 1 Gbps flat (Fair Usage). Dedicated copper connections and fibre are available with Colocation.

Is ISO 27001 included?

We are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 ourselves. If your data centre also has to be ISO 27001 certified, you need a Premium rack with Cert+ at NTT Zürich 1, available with Colocation.

Are there setup fees?

Yes, a one-time setup fee of CHF 200.– for Server Housing, and CHF 180.– if you add high availability.

What if I need more than a few height units?

Then a rack is often the better choice. Colocation starts with a Quarter Rack with 11 height units and 500 W, 24/7 access included.

What if I can’t be on site myself?

Our Remote Hands restart or check your server for you. During office hours (Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 18:00) we charge CHF 250 per hour, with a minimum of 15 minutes. Outside office hours, the minimum is one hour, plus an assignment fee and, if needed, an on-site fee. With the Remote Console IP-KVM you reach your server’s console in the browser, for CHF 90 for 6 hours.

Can I bring a visitor or technician?

Yes. At NTS / ColoZüri, no registration is needed as long as someone with their own access accompanies the visitor.
