Christopher Vetsch is starting today as Linux Operations Engineer in the Operations Team at nine.ch.
Chris successfully completed his apprenticeship as a Computer Scientist, specialising in system technology, in the summer of 2016. During his apprenticeship it became clear to him that in his future career he wanted to work with Linux – meaning nine.ch is just the right place for him!
As part of the Operations Team he will start working on the daily operations of all our server systems. He will also support and advise our customers on all technical issues and set up new customer systems. During the first few weeks he will be trained in all tasks by his “Götti”, Tajno Schönenberger. In the future Chris will also take on the on-call service, guaranteeing the smooth operation of our infrastructure outside of opening hours.
We are really looking forward to working with Chris and wish him all the best for his new start at nine.ch!
